Presentation Implementation
Here you'll find 3 examples of common 'Most Valuable Ideas' from my Business Presentations programs and for each one an example of simple, practical actions that can be taken to apply a 'Most Valuable Idea' at work.

The best 'Implementation Plan' is the one that is unique to your specific situation and that you create. So, don't worry if any of the 'Most Valuable Ideas' examples were not covered in the specific program you attended, the purpose of this information is to simply to show an example of what a practical application plan might look like :-)

Stated Purpose

-
Add a slide to my existing presentation with the Stated Purpose Formula to make it easier for me to remember, and easier for the audience to understand
-
Tell a story at the start of my presentation that clearly communicates the 'What's In It For The Audience'
-
Contact people who will be in the audience prior to the presentation to understand their needs, and tailor my Stated Purpose accordingly

Techniques for Building Confidence
1. Create a reminder of the idea of a swan on a lake - even if I feel nervous I look more relaxed than I feel
2. Listen or read a book to help me change my self talk to feel more confident; e.g. 'Chatter' by Ethan Kross
3. Go to the bathroom prior to my presentation and spend 2 minutes doing a power pose

Business Presentation Planner
1. Move my 'final questions' slides on my existing presentation to go before the summary and close
2. Create an 'Agenda' or 'Overview' slide on my existing presentation and ensure it only has 3 points
3. Follow the 3 steps outlined on the planner the next time I need to create a new presentation
